Looking anyone related to family of Burrows living in Franklin County in North Franklin and also in Antelope townships from 1880 and later. They lived there from at least the 1880 until the death of their parents... My great grandfather Benjamin Burrows b. 1823 wife Augusta. Benjamin had many children. Benjamin had older children from a earlier marriage. I have found a son from that marriage a George W. Burrows in Franklin Co., in 1880 census with wife Sarah, son Hiram, daughter Ida, and daughter Zelma. Please contact if any of this information sounds like a connection to you. Looking for any information about Hilary "Larry" McDowell, farmer, b. 28 Dec 1889, Iowa d. 18 Oct 1942, Riverton. Buried Riverton Cemetery.
Married Alice Marie Goebel, b. 2 Aug 1902, Riverton, d. 20 Oct 1982, Lincoln, daughter of Franklin farmer, garage owner and blacksmith, town constable, school board member 28 years, and 1937 town marshall, George Goebel and Blanche Bush. Brother: Herman, George, Jr., sister Lydia.
Children: Robert Lee, b. 13 Mar 1925 d. 26 Oct 1992, a second child died in infancy, and Wanda Mae, b. 31 Mar 1932.
After Hilary's death, Alice operated a restaurant in Riverton for a short time before moving to Lincoln and remarrying Robert L. Wilson.
