AVERY
I have been looking for my g. grandfather, SAMUEL AVERY. I'm sure that I
found burred in Bainbridge Cem. lot 121,Huntley NE. Is there any way I can
find his obits? They were not listed. I would love to get his death
certificate so I can find out who his parents were. He is the only one in my
tree that I can find. I believe the Indians were chasing him. He was a civil
war veteran. I found SAMUEL AVERY in the army in Buffalo Co. NE. and a man
Named FRED AVERY, which could be his son. SAMUEL AVERY was born around 1828
IN CANADA & his son FRED E. AVERY born 12/28/1874. Please I would appreciate
any help you could give me. I was born and raised in NE. & now on the East
coast. I would like my grandchildren to know about their ancestors before I
die.
thank you, Joyce Rozell - HAIRCUT1941@aol.com
CHURCH QUESTION – 13 OCT 2005
My ancestors lived in Bloomington and Franklin in the mid 1870's. Can
someone help me figure out which church they likely belonged to? I am
fairly certain that it would be a Disciples of Christ church.
