David Jordan (b. 1897 or 1898 in Russia), his family settled in South Dakota at some point. His parents names are unknown. Also, apparently the name "Jordan" was taken when the family came to the US. He went on to marry Pauline Rohbauck [daughter of Jacob Rohbauch and Justine Fisher, from South Dakota] (various spellings, incl. Roebuck), and they settled in Garden county Nebraska. They had five children including Jake (served in Navy WWII), Harry, Roy, Laura, and Lena. David passed away in 1938, and Pauline died in 1985, after living in Roscoe, Keith County, Nebraska for several years with her second husband, Ernie Boyle. David, Pauline, and Ernie are buried at Ash Hollow Cemetery in Garden County, Nebraska.
