My family resided in Nebraska for over 100 years. My Grandmother was born in a sod house. My Grandfather was born in eastern Nebraska and taken to the gold fields in the Dakotas as a child in a covered wagon. My Grandfather and his older brother and sister are found in the Guiness Book of World Records 1989 (I think) as the oldest living siblings in the USA.
