     Norfolk, Nebraska.
Born Maxwell, Neb., August 22, 1897. Son of David and Emma McNamara. Entered Army April 8th, 1918. Coast Artillery Corps, Park Battery C. Battles of Verdun and Meuse-Argonne. Gassed.
 

SGT. J. P. McREYNOLDS
     Norfolk, Nebraska.
Born Bloomington, Ill., June 7th, 1888. Son of William and Martha McReynolds. Entered Army June 24, 1918. Medical Corps. Drove ambulance from first aid station to field hospital. A. E. F.
 

CORP. DEWITT MAASSEN
     Tilden, Nebraska.
Born Atlantic, Iowa, May 28, 1896. Son of William and Mary Maassen. Entered Army December, 1917. Veterinary Dept. A. E. F. Stationed at Andel, Germany.
 

SGT. FRED M. MAAS
     Norfolk, Nebraska.
Born Norfolk, Neb., July 5th, 1895. Son of Herman and Friederike Maas. Entered Army April, 1918. Infantry 89th Division. Trained at Camp Funston. Overseas. 96 days in trenches in actual fighting.

     Norfolk, Nebraska.
Born Olympia, Greece, August 12, 1882. Son of Antonios and Mary Maches. Entered Army October 22, 1918. Infantry.
 

PVT. ELMER G. MACHMILLER
     Norfolk, Nebraska.
Born Stanton County, Neb., June 2, 1893. Son of Gust and Mary Machmiller. Entered Army May 27th, 1918. 338th Field Artillery Hdqtrs. Co. Trained at Camp Dodge. Sailed August, 1918.
 

CORP. LEO MACHMILLER
     Norfolk, Nebraska.
Born Stanton County, Neb., March 22, 1895. Son of Gust and Mary Machmiller. Entered Army April 7, 1917. Co. L, 168th Infantry, 42nd Div. Sailed October 14, 1917. Active fighting in all battles.

Born Norfolk, Neb., July 6th, 1896. Son of George and Alta Madsen. Entered Army June 24, 1917. Engineers. Sailed overseas September, 1918.
