Born 2 May 1912, Sherman Co., NE. Parents Rupert & Mary (Kaslon) Kowalewski. 23 Jul 1934: Married Lawrence Krance at Ashton, NE. They farmed the Krance place until 1949; moved to Central City, NE. Eventually owned Krance Korner on Hwy 92. In 1980, they moved to St. Paul, NE. Lawrence died in 1987. Mae broke a hip in 2005, moved to Heritage Living Center in St. Paul, NE. She died there Tues. 6 Jan 2009. Service: Sat., Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, St. Paul. Burial: Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery, Paplin, NE.
