Note: My Grandmother (Bertha Mae Blackwell) lived in Nance County about 1906 to 1910. She was married to George Walter Worth (Do not know if he was with the family during that time). My father Walter Albert Worth (1904-2001); and his siblings: Georgia Elva Alice Worth Brown (1902-abt. 1980), and Elmer Monroe Worth (1905-1926), attended this school from about 1910 to 1916, and lived with the Browns. Walter said he remembered planting the tree (with other students) in front of the school.

NORTH STAR SCHOOL
I would love a photograph of the North Star School. I attended this one room country school as a child. My father is Jim Baker, and mother is Verna Oakley (daughter of Fred Oakley). The school was near Fullerton, Close to the farm of Steve Dubas.

OAKDALE SCHOOL (historical)
"I have a copy of the class of Oakdale district 59 from 1916 school children. I don't know who is who, but I have alist of their names. There are 17 names and I only count 16 heads, but this is the teachers picture and handwriting on the back. I hope there is place you can post this info for someone who might be looking for it."
