Please read carefully
and note:
G'Day! These surname and query pages for Nuckolls county,
Nebraska are, as of this date [14 December 2003], in a
state of flux. A new format is being initiated and therefore
the older pages, though still on-line for the moment will
change slightly in the future. As the new pages are finished
they will be uploaded. Basically the new format begins with
this surname page and all queries are then linked from this
page. Later, if warranted, surnames will be divided into alpha
pages. Some changes are being made to the old queries; please
take note of posting conditions mentioned below. Thank you.
Please note: All surnames posted on this
page MUST have a Nuckolls county, Nebraska connection. And,
all future entries MUST have first and surnames of the
researcher posted to be accepted on these pages. Those that
do not have both are being unlinked as I find them. On occasion
I will discover e-mail addresses that are no long valid; these
are also being unlinked. Both incomplete names and out-dated
e-mail addresses are marked by an asterisk ["*"].
To add your surnames to the Nuckolls County
Surname Index List, please put Nuckolls Co NE Surnames
in the subject line of your message, and send to:
Bill Oliver
<wnoliver@worldnet.att.net>
[Note: you will have to highlight the e-mail address and paste
it into your message heading; thank you.] Please be sure to
include your name [first and surname], as well as your e-mail
address.
Also, please send your message in ASCII or "plain text" format.
Some addresses are no longer valid, therefore they may have been
unlinked or the addy deleted. After a time they might be
eliminated entirely. Or, maybe a page will be constructed to hold
them separately.
In addition genealogical research is NOT an anonymous
activity. It is a first name plus surname activity. You must
post your name [first and last] and valid e-mail address.
Since our research desires are out there [on websites and in e-mail
address books] for the public we are going to be
attacked by spammers. Individually we are responsible for
implementing any filters, etc. on our own computers.
Unfortunately being exposed to spiders and/or harvesters is
the price we pay for placing our addressess on the
worldwideweb. In an effort to avoid as much of this as
possible, I have begun to use a different approach -- there are
no active links or normal codes being added, though the
address appears normal. You must highlight, cut and paste
the researcher address to your message to make contact with
that researcher.
