PAWNEE CITY -- Alice Marie (Taylor) COVAULT, 98, Pawnee City, died
June 20, 2002. She was born Sept. 12, 1903, to Edmund D. and Avis (Dopp) 
Taylor in a farm house two miles southeast of Table Rock.  On June 2, 1928
married Lloyd E. Covault at the farm house where she lived from 1928-2000. 
Funeral: June 24, Church of Christ in Table Rock. Burial: Table Rock Cemetery.

ST. LIBORY -- Leon A. PETERSON, 82, St. Libory, died June 21, 2002, at his 
daughter's home near St. Libory. He was born Dec. 25, 1919, to Johnnie R. 
and Alvina E. (Bichel) Peterson in Sherman County. Married Elizabeth C. Schuda 
on Mar 4, 1946, in Loup City. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elizabeth; 
and son, James L. Peterson. Funeral services: June 25, Congregational Church 
in Ravenna. Burial: Evergreen Cemetery in Loup City. Wagner Funeral Home, 
Central City, in charge of arrangements.

Edward M. HINMAN
Edward M. Hinman, 81, Beatrice, died June 22, 2002 from a self-inflicted 
gunshot wound. He was born on Mar 29, 1921, at Denver, Colo., moving to 
Beatrice with his parents in 1924, and graduated form Beatrice High School 
in 1938. Married to Lavinna "Betty" Koester on Sept. 28, 1957. Preceded in 
death by his parents, Lewis and Clara (Griffith) Hinman; first wife, Charlene 
Hinman (1945); second wife, Lavinna (1985); and a brother, David Hinman. 
Funeral: June 26, Fox Funeral Home, Beatrice. Burial: Evergreen Home 
Cemetery, Beatrice, with military graveside services. Fox Funeral 
Home, Beatrice.

WILBER -- Florence Rebecca HOLLAND, 92, Wilber, formerly of Beatrice
died June 25, 2002. She was born on July 2, 1909, at Ballina, County Mayo, 
Ireland. She moved to Lincoln from England and married Harold R. Holland 
on Oct. 28, 1933. Funeral services: June 29, First Assembly of God Church, 
Beatrice. Burial: Evergreen Home Cemetery, Beatrice. Griffiths-Hovendick 
Chapel, Beatrice.

WILBER -- Rose DVORAK, 98, Wilber, died June 30, 2002. Born Oct. 5, 1903. 
On April 6, 1926, she married Fred Dvorak. Preceded in death by her parents, 
Jacob and Mary Vaverka Burianek; husband, Fred Dvorak Sr. (Feb. 6, 1987); 
grandson, David Dvorak; brothers, Adolph Burianek and James Burianek; and 
an infant sister. Funeral: July 3, Zajicek Funeral Home, Wilber. Burial: Pleasant 
Hill Cemetery. 

LOUISVILLE -- Norbert L. "Sonny" OLTMAN, 62, Louisville, died June 30, 2002
at his home in rural Louisville. Born Feb. 20, 1940, at Pickrell. On Oct. 8, 1967, 
he married Glenna M. Klostermeier at St. John Lutheran Church in Beatrice. 
Preceded in death by his stepfather, Bill Scheetz. Funeral: July 3, Immanuel 
Lutheran Church, rural Louisville. Graveside Services: Evergreen Home 
Cemetery, Beatrice. Military graveside rites by American Legion Post 237

She was born Nov. 18, 1911, near Vesta to Clark and Nettie Hartog Salomons.

parents, Clark and Nettie Hartog Salomons; husband, Fred (April 6, 1983); 
sisters, Katherine Weber and Marjorie Hazen; and brother, Delmar Salomons.
