A Celebration of Life will be held Nov. 5 at the Evangelical Free Church in Green Valley, AZ. Dick was born Dec. 7, 1928 in Blue Island, IL. In 1947, he married Marilyn Burnett in 1949 in Lexington, NE. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bill; grandson, David Patlan and a sister-in-law, Harriet Onstott. Mary Ella BOURN, age 91, of Cozad, NE, died on Oct. 31, 2011 at the Golden Living Center at Cozad. Memorial services will be held Nov. 3, 2011 at the Church of Christ in Cozad. A private family interment will be at the Cozad Cemetery prior to services. She was born on Sept. 25, 1920 at Cozad to Troy and Elizabeth (Stevens) Berryman. Mary Ella married Max R. Bourn on Aug. 12, 1945 at North Platte, NE. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1996; her parents; three brothers, Vern, Virgil and Charles; a sister, Lola Granger and infant sister, Betty Lou. Wayne V. HOLDERNESS, 87, of Norfolk, NE, formerly of Lexington, NE, died Nov. 2, 2011 at his home. Graveside services Nov. 5, 2011, at Greenwood Cemetery in Lexington. Wayne was born on July 25, 1924, in Arnold, NE, the son of Vernon and Edna (McNeal) Holderness. Wayne married Wanda Rork on May 4, 1946, in Lexington. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda, in 2005 and his daughter, Hope, in 2010. Franklin Morris WOLFE passed on Aug. 13, 2011. He was 89. The ashes of Commander Franklin M. Wolfe M.D. will be given to the sea and reunited with his beloved Eva in a private family ceremony on Valentine’s Day 2012. Frank was born on July 6, 1922 to Franklin and Stella Wolfe. Dr. Wolfe was preceded in death by his wife, Eva; stepson, Darold Westbrook and sisters, Virginia Vittoz and Rita Smith. Guadalupe "Lupe" Rodrigo HERNANDEZ, 20, of Fort Collins, CO, died Oct. 29, 2011 in Lexington, NE, due to a grain truck accident. A Rosary Service will be held Nov. 8, at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Inurnment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington. He was born July 2, 1937, at Detroit, MI, to Clare I. and Helen Irene (Williams) Peppler. On Dec. 21, 1947 Lewis John Torrey was united in marriage to Miss Arlys Marie Saathoff at the First Christian Church in Kearney. He was preceded in death by his father on July 23, 1955; his mother in Feb. 6, 1974; his sister Dorothy Abels and her husband Harland; one grandson, Jon Jackson and one great grandson, Kobie Jackson.
