The Nebraska State Gazeteer of 1890-1891
The gazetteer is a source of information for those living in Otoe County in 1890-91. It includes businesses and towns, and lists of farmers. Since the 1890 census is largely unavailable, this can serve as a partial substitute. However, it is not a directory of all persons living in the county.

Otoe County Bible Records and abstracted data
The Nebraska State Genealogical Society has released some older articles from its publication Ancestree. This information includes many names of residents in the early 1900s  Used by permission.
