 Shoemaker Hotel - Stromsburg

Thie photo was sent to me by Pam Ferguson. The hotel, built in 1880 by
Birt Shoemaker, was the first hotel in Stromsburg. The Shoemaker family is
pictured here along with others. The photo was given to son, Hamilton Shoemaker.
Pam collects old photos with genealogy information. Note the spring wagon and
the small building behind it.  Does anyone know anything about this hotel or the photo?
From the size of the trees, the photo was probably taken in about 1885?
