QRYTEXT: Hi, Am looking for help with or descendants of James C Brown and Florence Middleton. JC is buried at the Memorial Park Cemetery and there is a Florence there too who died in 1921 buried in the same block 1-154. However, on the 1930 census it lists Florence with a baby. So...who is this Florence buried there with JC or????? Any help would be appreciated. JC is my g-g-uncle.

QRYTEXT: General question: how does one locate obituaries from 1920s and 1930s? Any locals who might help someone from Indiana do a search? Specifically: looking for information about James RYAN and wife Margaret, and for Edward FOLEY, Sr. and wife Catherine (Katie...). They farmed in the Indianola area and were buried at St. Catherine's cemetery 1923, 1924, 1936, 1937 respectively. Especially interested in maiden names of Margaret and Catherine. (Do Nebraska death certificates generally include that information?) I'm new at these forums; pardon if my "etiquette" isn't quite right.

QRYTEXT: I am doing some research on the family of Theopholis Rickards and Margaret Carlisle, who were in Red Willow County, Their daughter Jemima Rickards/Richards taught school there, and married Edgar Sommers. They moved on to Fillmore County. I don't know from there. Margaret died, apparently in Red Willow County, and Theo moved on to Wallace, in Lincoln County, where he was in 1900. In 1902 he died in Clarks Ford, Wyoming, up near Cody, and Yellowstone. But I don't know the particulars. If anyone can help me with this family, I would like to hear from you. Does anyone have pictures of Theo and Margaret? Thank you Carole Tucker

QRYTEXT: My brother-in-law Ralph Kemper was born in March, 1931. At the time he lived in McCook, Nebraska. Next week he & his wife will be coming your way and hope to visit McCook, although he doesn't remember much about it. His parents' names are Ralph and Emma Kemper. They lived there just a few years. I have been trying to find where they might have lived in McCook, so he can look for the address when they visit. I have tried to access a 1930 census but have been unable to do so. Can you help? Also, they probably belonged to the Catholic Church, and he was probably baptized there. Thank you so much!! I would love to be able to give him this address.

QRYTEXT: I am seeking information on the Horton families. I notice that the Lebanon cemetery has many Horton grave markers, but none are mentioned in anything I find about Lebanon or Red Willow County, NE. My mother lost her mother in 1901, she was about 2 years old at the time. She was "farmed out" to a family of Horton's in Lebanon, NE., as told to her by her grand father Jonathan A. Horton and her father "Rony" Bivens; both of Exeter, NE. She did not return to the Exeter, NE., area until she was a teen ager. She often mentioned the Stephins family and I found her listed with the Stephins family in the 1910 U.S. Census of Lebanon, Red Willow Co., NE. I did find a school picture of Lebanon, NE., containing about 29 students and a teacher. In viewing it for the first time I quickly picked her out of the 29 students, even though someone gave her a differet name. This picture dates the class 1907-1908. Also, another picture dated 'class of 1914' with about 10 or 12 school children. I think she is in this picture, also. Any help out there??????? I will be so greatful.
