Wife - Margaret Constance (TINKHAM) - d. 6 Dec. 1908, Beatrice, NE, buried Beatrice, NE - graves unmarked in 1918. Married Nov. 1868. Prior to her marriage Mrs. BLAKELY had been one of the active and successful teachers of Gage County. Her first school was at Blue Springs, and her pupils were: Carter C. COFFINBERRY and Hugh J. DOBBS, John SHAW, Thomas JOHNSON, James JOHNSON, Richard JOHNSON, Martha JOHNSON, Maria KNIGHT (who m. Louis WEHN), Retta ANTHONY (who m. F. M. GRAHAM), Isaac ANTHONY (brother of Retta ANTHONY - both children of Dr. Levi ANTHONY), Sarah FISHER (daughter of King FISHER).
