DAKAN, Lucinda born 1827 married B. S. HAYDEN. She died in Hebron, Thayer, NE but I have no more info on her. Her sister Suzella DAKAN married George T. HAYDEN and they may have come to Hebron also. Families came from Ohio and Virginia, through Maysville, DeKalb, MO and on to Nebraska. Have lots of info on DAKAN family to share and would like to know about the HAYDENs.

EYRE, GRANT: Lived in Belvedier in 1886 per a letter I have from his father John Eyre of Coulterville, Illinois. I have nothing about him, no dob, no dod, no marriage and no one seems to be looking for an Eyre. Any help any one can give me would be appreciated. Thanks ever so much. Marti in Ohio.

Hiram Clark Young married Elizabeth Esther Stetson at Wheatland, WI in 1857-58. Children were Emma Jane (born Columbus, OH? 1859), Edgar (died young where & when), Ella (born where & when), Asa Edgar (born Center Point, Linn Co., Iowa 1866), William (died young where & when), Leona (died young where & whe), Mary (born where 1868), Albert Lincoln (born 1871 where), and Jerry Wilson (born (Kansas 1879). Hiram married second Florence Johnsonbaugh 1891 in Hebron, Thayer Co., Nebraska. Hiran and Florence buried in Rose Hills Cemetery, Hebron. Desire data regarding above, especially descendants of Hiram and Elizabeth.

LAPCHESKA-JENKINS - Looking for information on the above families in Fillmore and Thayer Counties, NE. Paulina LAPCHESKA (1871-1960) m. George Henry JENKINS (1871-1935) in Hebron, Thayer Co in 1889. They had children Agnes Louise (m. Henry Wallace BURT), Minnie Dolly (m. William F. OAKES), Blanche Evelyn (m. Carl K. PETERS and Paul Revere SIPE), George McKinley (m. Hulda BAKER) and Daisy Pauline (m. Jerry PEKAR and Robert WILSON). George Henry was the son of James J. JENKINS and Avaline BRIDGEWOOD. He had siblings Benjamin, Frederick (m. Minnie BAUMAN), Margaret, Raymond, Albert (m. Emma PARKER), Carrie (m. Otto NIERSTEIMER), Mabel (m. John PARKER), and James Jr. (m. Carrie WEST). Pauline was the daughter of John LAPCHESKA and Amelia HEIER. She had siblings Minnie, Frederick (m. Sophia KRAUSE), Rudolph, Otto and Louis (m. Lizzie B. SCHROEDER). Any information on these families would be appreciated.

Looking for information on JENKINS, BRIDGEWOOD and BREWER families; resided in FIllmore County and Thayer County in the late 1800s and early 1900s. James J. JENKINS (1848-1932) m. Avaline BRIDGEWOOD (1854-1925) and had children George Henry, Benjamin, Frederick R., Margaet, Raymond S., Albert L., Carrie, Mabel and James Jr. Avaline BRIDGEWOOD JENKINS had two brothers who also moved to Fillmore Co: James Henry BRIDGEWOOD (185-1927) and George Harrison BRIDGEWOOD (1853-1925). James married Mary Ann WHITTLE and George Harrison married Anne Ellen DeLaMATER. The BRIDGEWOOD siblings lived for a time with their maternal grandfather, Robert/Ricahrd BREWER. Nearly all of these people are buried in the Harmony Cemetery. Any information on ancestors/descendants would be appreciated.

My grandfather Gerhard Christain Fischgrabe was born at Hebron, in Thayer County NE on Aug. 17, 1881 to Garrot Fischgrabe and Elizabeth Brinkmeyer. Garrot and Elizabeth were maried at Belvidere, in Thayer County Ne on dec. 9, 1880. Other children included Katherine Elisabeth, Christain Willhelm, Willhelm Herman, Martha Elisabeth, Herman Heinrich, Maria (Mary) Elisabeth, Heinrich Friederich, Meta Elisabeth, and Ora Prisila. It appears the family moved to Pawnee Co., OK., before Maria was born Sept. 8, 1894. I would be glad for any information on this family.

I am seeking information on Charles Caton & Eliza Caton. A cemetery listing for Bethel Cemetery, Carleton, Ne shows that Charles was born 18 Feb 1806 and died 21 Jul 1899. Eliza, presumably his wife, was born 1 Aug 1810; died 19 Mar 1899. Are they the parents of Joshua Caton who was born 14 Oct 1854 in Ohio and died 6 Mar 1921 at Davenport, NE? Joshua came to Nebraska from Coal City, Owen County, Indiana, in the 1880's. Any information on these families would be appreciated.

Would love to correspond with anyone researching the MOTT surname in Thayer Co. Darius Mott and family lived in Thayer Co. for around 1882 until @ 1895. Also Darius's brother Manford and possible Edwin Mott lived in Thayer Co. during that time period. Would love to exchange information.

I am looking for descendants of Sander and Caroline (Harris) Hoffert. Sander was born abt 1855. They had children, Philemon and Bently, burried near Carleton. Other childern are Etta, Benny, and Ora Olie. Have much to trade.

Seeking information on James BISHOP who married Lucinda Elizabeth (Lizzie) CLARK (dau. of Edward CLARK) about 1870, they had dau. Jessie E. BISHOP in Chester, NE. 1871. Lizzie ran a boarding house. Jessie married John JAMES about 1886. Have found some Deeds in Chester & Republic Co. KS.. Lizzie raised grandson George F. JAMES & nephew Alonzo CLARK. Lizzie left Chester about 1901 for Spokane, WA, with grandson George and father. In 1904 Jessie shows up in Spokane, as Jessie DeFoil.
