NOTE: They had a daughter named Rose 'Rosa' Barbara Kleppinger (1863-1957) who lived in Hebron most of her adult life and died there. She was married to John D. Betty June Davis was born June 19, 1930 in Stockville, NE, the daughter of Bryan Theodore and Emma Lou (Williams) Coe. She married Max Allen Griffith Davis July 8, 1948 in Deshler, NE. Betty lived in Deshler, Oxford and Sidney, Nebraska before moving to Nebraska City in 1952. She worked as a nurse's aide at St. Mary's Community Hospital in Nebraska City prior to retirement. Betty was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She loved making friends and spending time with family. She also loved doing volunteer work at her church and the Ambassador Care Center. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Teddy Lee Becker; brothers, Ray Coe, Bryan Coe, Jr. and Lloyd Coe; sisters, Lorraine Bade and Joan Coe. Survivors include her husband, Max Davis of Nebraska City; son, Rev. Michael Davis and his wife Janet of Elgin, NE; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Ruby Mitchell of Victorville, CA; Shirley Forsgren of Lincoln, NE; Patty Weber of Loveland, CO; brother, Clark Coe of Puyallup, WA; many other relatives and friends. Betty died March 6, 2013 at St. Mary's Community Hospital in Nebraska City at the age of 82 years, 8 months and 17 days. Memorials are suggested to the family's choice, First United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society in Lincoln, NE.
