She and ALEXANDER migrated to Webster Co. from Marshall Co., IL at a very early date. Her maiden name was ELECTA MATTHEWS. She was the daughter of JOHN MATTHEWS and his wife IRENA FOSDICK. I have both the MATTHEWS and FOSDICK families back many generations. I would be happy to correspond with persons interested in these lines. Other names connected to the ALEXANDER WALKER line are SMELSOR and LESTER.

There were other children that I have not found yet. I have info on James Howard and his decendants plus a little on a sister-in-laws of Autin, a little on Lettie. (Williams) Winfield on Monday, February 7, 2000: Looking for anyone who can give me information on the Bert Earnest WILLIAMS (b: 27 July 1883 in Iowa) & Nora Oleva (Mattley) Williams (b: December 23, 1886 possible in Ord, Nebraska) family who lived in Bladen, Webster County, Nebraska. My father Loren Otis Williams was born to them in Bladen on June 16, 1913. Trying to find out anything I can about them. Nora Oleva (Mattley) Williams's parents were Luke MATTLEY (b: June 1855 in Indianna) and Elizabeth Jane ERRIDGE (b: June 10, 1850 in Ramsgate, Kent, England).

HUMMEL, HUMMELL posted by edward hummel on Tuesday, April 11, 2000: I would like to know if anyone in the Red Cloud area knows anything about my father Albert Hummel whose last name was also spelled with 2 l's. He lived in the Red Cloud area in the 20's til the 40's. My grandfather and grandmother are buried in the Red Cloud Cemetary. Any information would be helpful.

Shelton born Jan 29, 1855. died Sept. 27, 1929. His wife: Ida L. (Leeds) Shelton born Dec. 13, 1863 died Jan. 3, 1923. Both buried near Red Cloud. Also: John Leeds born Mar. 4, believe 1823.
