  • Cradle Days of York County — $5, including postage**
A compilation of historical sketches of York County's earliest settlers, first published in the York Republican newspaper. Published in book format in November 1937, reprinted by the York County Historical Association January 1976. 120 pages.

  • Our Illustrated York, Nebraska (1888) — $7, including postage**
This book allows the readers to take a step back in time and view the city of York in 1888 — in the midst of a spectacular growing surge. The text covers the first twenty years of the city of York, beginning with the 1868 pre-emption claims and a single framed shanty standing in what would eventually become downtown York. By 1888, when the book was printed, the city of York was a self-proclaimed "Banner City" of 6,000 souls. This reprint contains 42 engravings of the courthouse, the business blocks, churches, schools, and community leaders.
