.

Old Business: Snow Roller: Donna reported that Aaron Allen has erected the shelter.       The Dunkertons donated the lumber and put the roof on.  Larry Tibbets will shingle the roof with cedar shakes.  A fence or railing will be needed around the snow roller.  John Ricard noted that the roller and shelter need a coat of sealing now and in the spring.

Abenaki Program: Approximately 40 people attended the program.  It was noted that there was a conflict with the Concert on the Common and perhaps Sharon Duffy could maintain a Town activities calendar on the town web site.  Donna and Patsy were thanked for their work on this program.

New Business: Canaan History Museum: the roof is being replaced by Mr. Kierstead.  John Bergeron did a survey of the buildings needs for the Capital Improvement Plan.

Discussions: of need for benefactors of the museum.   Suggestion was made to ask Tom Geoghegan to attend our next meeting to advise on the role of benefactors.

It was voted to hold the next meeting in January.

Discussion of the program ÒSeven to SaveÓ: Historical sites needing preservation  Dan and Donna will look into this for the Museum and also follow up on the Register of Historic Places.

John asked if there is any interest in going as a group to the Sate History Museum in Concord.   Consensus was that many have already been to it.
