In his will dated 24 March 1670/1
and proved 13 April1675: with regard to his dau Sarah Sargent: 5 pounds;
residue to "my daughter Sarah and if she die without
children, the housing and lands to be equally divided
to my four children: my sons Thomas & William & my
daughters b. abt 1636 and Elizabeth - my son Thomas Sargent
and my daughter Sarah Sargent executors. Unmarried
daughter Sarah chose to have her loving brother Thomas Sargent
act in her behalf as executor 14 April 1675.
