The following work has been compiled over the years with the help of many different researchers with WILLEY interests. NOTE: Each index entry has a Ref.# use these to find someone instead of the page numbers. Between the PC and the Web there have been many changes in page sizing.
Kenneth's first published work is VITAL RECORDS from the EASTPORT SENTINAL of Eastport, Maine 1818 1900 Published by Picton Press 1996, and he is the Co-founder and Co-editor of W.K.R.P. Important information you must read this:
There has never been any documentation found that links this Allen WILLEY with Isaac or Thomas
listed as his children in this document. I have done this in an effort to offer a possible father for both Isaac and Thomas.
In 1909 the Boston Transcript genealogical section, had a researcher state that this Allen was the father of these children, however once again no documented sources were offered. Also note there has never been any documentation found that links both Thomas and Isaac as brothers. Only family information passed on from generation to generation that talks about three WILLEY brothers coming from England. This can be found in the Henry Willey Gen. and many other independent WILLEY documents.
This relationship has also been offered as a means to help WILLEY researchers keep the two major New England WILLEY lines, in line.
About arrival in the US, no one knows on what boat or on what day Isaac, Thomas or Allen arrived in New England. However a book on early passenger arrivals lists shows Isaac WILLEY in the index. Sadly there is no page number just the name in the index. Looking through the book there is no Isaac WILLEY to be found. This suggests to me that a record of some sort exists or existed that shows the arrival of Isaac WILLEY. All we can do is keep looking.
A few researchers list Rycherd Willey b. abt 1575 in Lincolnshire, England as the father of Allen, John, Isaac. Another researcher adds Thomas as a brother. Not the Thomas of Oyster River, but Thomas of Nantucket.
This Rycherd m. Sally Freer 4 Jul 1603 in Mumby, Lincolnshire, England. A marriage between Allen Willey and Alice Mason is also reported on 15 May 1628 Alford, Lincolnshire, England. These look good for a connection to the New England Willey's. John (Wylie) Wiley, of Reading, MA is also listed as a brother to Allen and Isaac, this John did removed to Colchester, CT and was working in the New London, Ct area. This is where Isaac resided. Did John go there in order to be near his brother Isaac ? A lot of the information in this update came from RootsWeb, not all notes were copied, you would do well to go in and review the information.

NOTES for Allen:
IMPORTANT NOTE; *** There has never been any documentation found linking this Allen
Willey with Isaac or Thomas listed as his children in this document. This has been done by myself in an effort to to offer a possible father for both Isaac and Thomas. Boston Evening Transcript 9 Dec 1908, (genealogical section), states that Allen Willey and his wife came to America early in the 17th century and had sons Thomas and Isaac Again in 1909 the Boston Transcript genealogical section, had a researcher state that this Alan was the father of these children, however once again no documented sources were offered. Also note there has never been any documentation found that links both Thomas and Isaac as brothers. Only family information passed on from generation to generation that talks about three Willey brothers comming from England. This can be found in the Henry Willey Gen. and many other independant Willey documents. This has also been done by myself in an effort to help researchers keep the two major New England Willey lines, in line.
