| The Franklin Pierce House Museum, also known as the Franklin Pierce Homestead, is at the intersection of NH routes 9 and 31, in Hillsboro, NH. From Southern, Northern or Eastern NH: Take your best route to I-93 heading toward Concord. Take I-89 North. Take Exit 5 (left hand exit) for NH 9/US 202. Follow Route 9 West for approximately 16 miles to the intersection of Route 31. Turn right onto 31 North, the Homestaed is immediately on your right. From Keene, NH area: Take Route 9 East. Go just under 24 miles to Hillsboro. Where Routes 9 and 31 separate, rake a left onto 31 North. The Homestaed is immediately on your right. From Claremont/Newport, NH area: From Claremont, take Route 11 East to Newport. In Newport take Route 10 South. Go approximately five miles to the intersection of Route 31. Take a slight left onto Route 31 South. Follow 31 South for approximately 18 miles. The Homestaed will be on your left immediately before the intersection with Route 9. From the Lebanon, NH area: Take I-89 South. Take Exit 6 for NH 127 South. Follow Route 127 South for approximately three and a half miles to the intersection of Route 9. Turn right onto Route 9 West. Follow Route 9 West for approximately 12 miles to the intersection of Route 31. Turn right onto 31 North, the Homestaed is immediately on your right. |
