Travel to Derry has been so much easier in recent years with the opening of the City of Derry Airport which has direct flights to London, Glasgow, East Midlands (Nottingham) and Dublin. Visitors to Derry should not lose out on seeing tourist attractions in neighbouring
counties in the
North West, especially as it is a small province that is easily
covered at leisure by car or Foyle Ferry in 2-3 days. The main towns in Londonderry include Londonderry, Coleraine, Limavady,
Dungiven, Maghera and Magherafelt. How these towns looked in the early part

The famous 'Walls of Derry', Dungiven Old Priory and the beautiful beaches
from Portstewart to Benone are among the places of interest to the visitor

The close historical and commercial association between Derry
and the Inishowen Peninsula in Donegal continues to this day. This is evident even today in that
the local news coverage for the Inishowen peninsula, which includes the market town of Letterkenny,
