Members of Loantanka-Parsippanong Chapter meet on scheduled dates from October through May, usually at 1 PM in the vicinity of Madison and Parsippany-Troy Hills, Madison County, New Jersey

Reflecting the interests of our members, we are active in many DAR programs on both the State and National level, including:

• Scholarship awards
• Good citizen awards to high school seniors
• Eighth grade citizenship awards
• Financial aid of American Indian students
• Support of mountain schools in Appalachia
• Support of schools for children with special needs
• Constitution Week displays in local libraries
• Special observance of soldiers' graves and historic sites
• Service to patients in Veterans' Hospitals
• Care and display of the American Flag
• Assisting prospective members to process their papers

  Our members continually promote the awareness of our national historic
