MEMBERSHIP
We are a service
organization dedicated to pursuing the objectives of the National Society of the
Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) - Historic Preservation, Promotion
of Education, and Patriotic Endeavor.
We warmly welcome you, as a prospective
member, to attend one or more of our meetings. Please contact our chapter regent,
Erynn Murray if you have
questions, or would like to attend.
If
you want to know if one or more of your known ancestors are recognized by the
DAR as a Revolutionary Patriot, please complete
the request form on the NSDAR Web site (NSDAR volunteers will check for you
at no charge) or visit the DAR's
Patriot Index message board, on Rootsweb.
Remember that the
DAR Patriot Index only contains the names of those patriots submitted through
application for DAR membership If your ancestor's name does not appear there,
it does not mean they did not serve, it simply means that he/she was not
the ancestor of a current or past member of the DAR.
