We
are a service organization dedicated to pursuing the objectives of the National
Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) - Historic Preservation,
Promotion of Education, and Patriotic Endeavor.
Red
Bank Chapter is named after the Battle of Red Bank (in Gloucester County, New
Jersey), where in October 1777, American patriots at Fort Mercer defeated two
thousand Hessian troops.
Winning this battle acted as a much-needed morale builder to General George Washington's
army, giving new hope and rallying the spirits of the soldiers.
New members are always
welcome! Inquiries for Red Bank Chapter should be sent to our webmaster's email
