A Peek into Gloucester County's Past

The public is invited to this free program including a Power Point presentation and a variety of artifacts starting with dinosaur fossils from the cretaceous era and ending with the latest in technology being used in the 1940s. Learn about the first inhabitants of a much larger Gloucester County and find out why the county is an integral part of our nation's fight for independence plus much more!

October 21The Woodbury Public Library is proud to sponsor this New Jersey Council for the Humanities program, which will be held at the Gloucester County Historical Society! Historic architect Margaret Westfield will join us at the Gloucester County Historical Society to illustrate the clues to deciphering a building's past. The Museum, housed in a 1765 Georgian building, significantly altered in 1888, serves as a case study to explain Westfield's work in dating historical building.
