- One
of the best sources of FREE family and town/city histories is HeritageQuest.
Many libraries now offer this service FREE of charge. Their service is searchable
(both by a person's name, or by a place), and includes accesibility to the original
U.S. Census documents, for 1790-1930. Ask your librarian today. In addition, several
of the larger regional and national historical societies, offer the service as
part of your membership.
- Genealogical
periodicals found at the New Jersey State Library (arrange
with your local library to borrow books desired through inter-library loan)
