Jersey City Library
The Jersey City Library, located on the corner of Jersey Avenue and Montgomery Street in Jersey City, NJ, has a room called the New Jersey Room that is devoted to genealogy. The room has the City Directories that contain listings for both Jersey City and Hoboken, microfilm copies of old editions of the local, Hudson County newspapers, and a great deal of other information.
