I am searching for Sarah BAINE. Her first marriage was to Thomas C. MACMAHON. When he died in 1876 she remarried shortly after to John BAINE/BAINES He died in 1904. Sarah was born in Glasgow Scotland; but we don't know what year. She died in 1902 in Jersey City. What we need to know was either how old she was when she died or what year she was born. I have a person in Scotland who can trace her from there but needs her age of death or date of birth. My family knows nothing else about her. Sarah is my G-G Grandmother on my Grandfather MACMAHON's side !

I was born and raised in Bayonne but very little information has been passed down regarding my family. I would be very interested in hearing from anyone who might know anything about Oscar and Anna OTTO. They came from Germany in 1880/2 and settled in Bayonne. Oscar was a tailor. The family resided around 27th street. Oscar died 28 May 1913 and was buried in Bay View cemetery. Anna died 15 Nov 1927 and was buried in New York Bay cemetery (believe this to be same as Bay View). They had at least eight children: Richard, Emma, Bertha, Minnie, John, Charles, Paul and Catherine (my grandmother). Appreciate contact with anyone who might have information or be related to same.
Looking for information on James and Mary OBRIEN of Bayonne. James O'BRIEN was born in Ireland to Thomas and Mary O'BRIEN, and died in Bayonne on 29 May 1888 from being struck by lightning. He was buried in Holy Cross cemetery. His wife, Mary, nee CUSHING, was born in Ireland to James and Bridget CUSHING, circa 1850. Mary died 5 March 1905 and was buried in Holy Cross cemetery. James and Mary had at least 3 children: Thomas (b. 1878), Mary (b. 1886) and Ellen (b. 1888). Ellen is my grandmother and married Isaiah SUTTON in Bayonne. Isaiah is from Hunterdon Co.
