DEAN, Stephen and Elizabeth, early 19th century

Stephen and Elizabeth (BUNN) DEAN were both born about 1775 in New Jersey. They probably lived
in Hunterdon County until the 1830s when they moved to Warren County. They are in the 1840 and
1850 censuses of Greenwich Township, Warren County, and Elizabeth might be in the 1860 census
in the household of Jacob and Rebecca SHULTZ, but listed under the name "Jane" DEAN. Most of
their children were born and lived in Hunterdon Couty, mostly in and near New Germantown.

Elizabeth had a brother, Anthony BUNN, who wrote his will in 1866 in Readington (probated in
Hunterdon County in 1867) and in it he mentions Stephen and Elizabeth's daughters: Catherine
WALTERS, Mary WELCH, and Christiana BRAYTON and sons, John and Stephen DEAN. There
might have been another son, Barzilla DEAN, who died in Springfield, Ohio in 1812.

Catherine and Mary lived in New Germantown, Hunterdon County until moving to Ohio in the late
1820s, Christiana followed them to Ohio later. The two sons might have remained in New Jersey,
but nothing is known about them.

When and where did Stephen and Elizabeth die and where are they buried? I would welcome any
information that might be available.
