Special Interest Groups

MAGS sponsors several Special Interest Groups (SIGs).  Participation in the Special Interest Groups is limited to MAGS members.   For more information, contact this website.  Be sure to put MAGS in the subject line.

Beginners and Beyond  

Meetings:

Meetings normally are the third Monday of each month September through June 1:00 - 3:00 pm in the large meeting room at Morris County Library.  (Directions to the library.)

German & Eastern European Genealogy  

Purpose:

To share information, knowledge and experience researching genealogy in Germany and emigration from Germany.

3rd Tuesday each month at 10:00 in Morris County Library conference room. (Directions to the library.)
  

Computer Genealogy and Family History Writing 

Meetings:

The PC Genealogy and Family History Writing Group meets the 3rd Friday each month.  We meet from 9:30-11:30 at the Morris County Library, in the large meeting room (Directions to the library.) 

Your Brick Wall  

Purpose:

 

 

Meeting:

Do you have a Genealogical Brick Wall?  This SIG provides a group to assist MAGS members in working through their genealogical brick walls by helping to develop a brick wall document, documenting their  progress and failures, and suggesting areas for further work.

2nd Friday each month at 10:00 at the Morris County Library in the Conference Room. (Directions to the library.)

Italian Genealogy

DNA

To share information, knowledge and experience using DNA to connect to others.

Meetings vary per room availability, but are generally the 2nd or 3rd Thursday evening each month at 7:00 pm at the Morris County Library.  (Directions to the library.)
