HOWELL

Bethel Cemetery AKA Southard

Church Road- personally, I am confused about which is Adelphia, Southard, Bethel or just plain Howell. Sorry, you are on your own here.

HOWELL / Southard?

Cedar Lawn

Next to Bethal Church, between the church and Bethal Church cemetery.- This may be referred to as Adelphia, Howell or even Southard...I am just too confused.

HOWELL / ADELPHIA

Bethel / Bethesda Methodist Church Cemetery

Thanks to the helpful soul who offered this info: Ellis's "History of Monmouth County New Jersey" starting on page 649 has a history of the Methodist Church at Blue Ball, which is now Adelphia. The church is the oldest Methodist society in Monmouth County, the church building was located on what is now Wycoff Road where the cemetery is. At the time of Ellis writing the church was known as Bethesda and still located at the cemetery.
