The request should contain background information and what you are looking for. It also doesn’t hurt to have a short narrative explaining what you have obtained. Be sure to provide a way to contact you , e-mail is preferred due to cost.

ELFSTROM: Looking for information on Grandfather Samuel L. ELFSTROM and his wife Edith. In particular would like to find obituary for his death, occurred June or July 1961. His only child was Elvina Elizabeth ELFSTROM SZOPINSKI. He died in the Paterson area. He spent some time in association with the Metropolitan Church Association in Geneva, Wisconsin doing missionary work. His last service was in a New York Church and Sunday School.
