This postcard with the caption "Scenes around South River, N.J." may not actually be a picture from South River. Postcard publishers were known to reuse images that were considered generic enough not be recognizable as a specific place. This one is notable because a reversed version of the image can be viewed in the University of Delaware Library Digital Collections. Their version has the caption "Packing berries in field, Harrington, Del."
