Mystery Cemetery: Do you know where this cemetery is and its name? Located on "West Side Road" 6 or 8 miles south of High Rolls toward Cloudcroft in the National Forest. Sent by Bob Burgess. Taken in 2002 on hunting trip.

Rare form is one of Yucca elata also called Yucca angustifolia var. radiosa Engelmann, or Yucca angustifolia var. elata Engelmann, common name soaptree yucca, NM State Flower. Yucca elata is a variable, but often large species that can reach 30 feet, but usually 6 to 10 feet tall. Plants can have one to a dozen trunks, up to 12" wide. They may branch with age. This one was spotted along the road while taking photos of cemeteries in southern NM.
