Today's DAR Channel

This video highlights the vibrant, active organization the DAR is today, and reinforces the diversity of its membership and service work. While just a snapshot of the multitude of efforts of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, the video captures an overview of the grassroots service programs and members that make the DAR so special and worthwhile. ...

Hello,
We are honored that you are interested in the DAR and in our chapter in particular. DAR is a non-profit, non-political, volunteer service organization. Organized in 1963, Charles Dibrell Chapter (CDC) has over 150 members from the Albuquerque area and associate members from across the United States.

Our purpose is to promote patriotism, education, and historic preservation. The National Society (NSDAR) has 52 committees that develop these goals, and an active member is sure to find something of interest among them. Of particular interest this year is Project Patriot, which supports our troops at Landstuhl Medical Hospital, Germany. CDC also attends naturalization ceremonies to greet new citizens, honors JROTC at local high schools, prunes roses at the Veterans Memorial Park, and has adopted the American Bald Eagle at the Albuquerque Zoo.

Chapter meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of the month, when we enjoy programs presented by members of the community, as well as talented women from our own chapter. Visitors are welcome. Please contact our registrar for more information.

Thank you for browsing our web pages. We welcome your inquiries.
