Please post your queries through the Queries option below.  Anyone having any information regarding Eddy County, such as news items from the past, old photos, old bibles, or anything else that would relate to our site, please email me directly instead of posting to the queries board.  Any information relating to this area will be considered for posting.

When searching for a particular name in the funeral records, cemeteries, or obituaries, you may find it helpful to click on Edit at the top of your browser, then click Find (or Find in page), which will bring up a box for you to enter a name (first or last) to search for.  After entering the name, it will take you to the place in the page where that name appears.  This can be helpful since these records are not alphabetized.

 SOCORRO COUNTY  -  was an original county created in 1852.
 LINCOLN COUNTY  -  was formed from the east part of Socorro County
                                             in 1869.  
CHAVES COUNTY  -     was created from the east part of Lincoln County
                                           in 1887.  This county is a neighboring county to
                                           Eddy County which was also created from the
                                           east side of Lincoln County in 1889.
