Bandanas for Dogs

The Annie Early Wheeler Chapter, 945 of the Children of the Confederacy, with generous donation of fabrics from Bison Mercantile and fabrics from Anna and Sarah Mills’ quilting supply, has made beautiful bandanas for some very special dogs. The children are blessing two organizations with the bandanas that know some big dogs with big hearts.

Quilts for Kids

Anna and Sarah Mills have completed two quilting kits provided by Quilts for Kids. Quilts for Kids is an organization that transforms fabrics into patchwork quilts that comfort children with life-threatening illnesses and children of abuse.

New Members of C of C Annie Early Wheeler Chapter 945 are  Samuel, Anna, Sarah, Jonah, Elijah and Daniel Mills standing proudly with their new C of C membership certificates.  They are children of Gen Joe Wheeler #966 member, Mary Mills. They all live in Kansas

Wounded Warriors Fund Raiser

A fund raiser for the Wounded Warriors Project was held by the Mills family in a rural community in Kansas.  They made cookies and other treats then sold them in front of the local Post Office.  $244 was raised for the Annie Early Wheeler chapter to donate to this project.

Clint Haney, age 4, shown on Easter Sunday in his Kepi.  Clint is the son of member Julia Haney and the grandson of member, Stacy McSwain.

The Annie Early Wheeler Chapter #945 was chartered July 31, 2005.  Celebrating the charter are left to right, Stacy McSwain, Katie Parker, Roy Ann Parker,  Leann Parker and Lillian Jordan.
