Chapter Regent

Chapter Regent Edith Knott

Welcome to our web site! We invite you to come in, browse around, and meet a few of our members. You will see for yourself an active, vital, and happy chapter. What joins all of us together is the friendship, camaraderie, and service to others that we share as members. All of us are linked through our ancestors to the early days of our country.

Learn about several of our projects promoting the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) motto of service to "God, Home, and Country." If you are a member of the DAR or eligible through one of your ancestor's patriotic service during the American Revolution or are a current member new to the area, we hope you will accept our invitation to attend one of our meetings.

As one of the largest women's organizations in the United States, the DAR is a vibrant, growing organization of women who are interested in America's rich history, researching their family roots, education, and community service.

We enjoy working together to serve our state and national societies in support of the objectives of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution; those objectives are to promote historic preservation, education, and patriotism.

Meetings are held in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on the third Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m. September through May. We have time for visiting and enjoying an interesting program followed by a brief business meeting.
