The site could be very helpful for those who are looking for information about the ships that brought their Ancestors from Norway.  The site contains information about ships that left Norway with emigrants between 1825 and 1925. You will find an index with departure and arrival information, ship history and details, voyage accounts, pictures of ships, old newspaper announcements and information about conditions for the emigrants on their voyage. You will also find a good introduction to the police lists, also called the emigration protocols.
