Who, what and where are the Oslo Reunions?.  It is the genius of a Norway List member who lives in Oslo, and has invited many Norway Listers to meet her, when they arrive in Norway.  She and her friends Ole Kjølseth, Odd Braathun, and several others, have made this a tradition.    Elin Galtung Lihaug, from Oslo, organizes the Oslo Reunions - informal dinners with visiting Norway listers. These gatherings were started in October 1998.     Each year about 20 visitors from the United States and Australia,  have met fellow listers from Oslo,  for a nice meal and a chat.

     Elin was born and lives in Oslo,  with her husband and two daughters. They all love horses and enjoy vacations in Europe and the United States. Elin is working as a pharmacist in the field of drug safety surveillance.

     Her genealogical studies have been concentrated on Forsand and Jæren, Rogaland (her maternal lines) and Hardanger, Hordaland (her paternal Galtung family). She is also extending her research to Brandenburg, Germany, in the time period before about 1600 for the Grabow line of her father's family.
