CONKLIN/STORM, Dutchess Co. etc.

This is most particularly to the 2 Daves, See and Roberts, but
may be of interest to others. I have come to think of the
CONKLINGs as perhaps perversely representative of a whole set
of LI/NY/NJ people who simply won't stay put, and in the
process leave too few tracks. And they're ALL like that:
even the stay-at-homes don't seem to have got the idea that
what you need is TOWN RECORDS! CHURCH RECORDS! SOMEBODY KEEP
TRACK PLEASE! --Other than the oddball preacher who keeps a
notebook of the weddings he did that some other
obssessive/compulsive one happens to have kept. ;)

Well, all that off my chest, I am very interested in the
John^1 Timothy^2 line of Huntington, and would like to compare
notes. I think I have established my connection through
Naomi^5 CONKLING (mar. Jospeh LEWIS, Jr., 1759), John^4 (mar.
whom?), John^3 (mar. Mary BRUSH), Timothy^2 (mar. Martha
WICKES/WILKES), John^1, but would welcome corroboration of the
LEWIS to John^4 link; details on request.

I am, however, even more interested in what appears to be
David See's particular knowledge of mid-1700s Dutchess Co. and
environs, which I hope might extend to Ulster & Orange Cos
across the river, where there seem to be a lot of kindred. My
eye lit particularly on the name Annetje STORM(S) in a
subsequent post--she appears as a bapt. sponsor jointly with
Robert GRAHAM (masquerading as KREEMS) of son Robert of James
DELI (=DAILEY & variants) and Elisabeth KREEMS, in Shawangunk,
recorded in Kingston, Ulster Co., 8 Sep 1743.

David, I am eager for any scraps at all about any of these
people, and will happily exchange anything I have, given the
thin paper trail all of them left. I was thinking
Annetje/Antje STORM might be Robert GRAHAM(S)'s wife since his
will (1766) names an ANNETJE (or close) as wife, but your
report suggests otherwise. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.
