I am surprised that the G. Mackenzie papers say John of Rye, NY, was the
son of Ananias Conklin. Conklin Mann who wrote articles in The American
Genealogist says that there isn't proof John of Rye was related to John
and Ananias, but probably he was.
There is some discrepancy in who were the wives of the two Timothys of
my line. Does anyone any input or research material to verify the
names?
If anywone wants more details on my line, let me know. My David/Joanna
(Gilbert) Conklin went to Rutland, Jefferson Co., NY. They were both
born in South Salem, NY. They had 17 children. A number of the
children went to Hartford, MI, a couple to CA, and some stayed in
Jefferson Co.
Hope this helps somebody!!!
