Thor:

The Orange County Genealogical Society is a good place to start. I was under
the
impression that the Conklin's of Cornwall were the desc. of Samuel Conklin of
Murder's Creek in Cornwall. He was the son of John Conklin, son of Annasias
the immagrant. He had four sons by Immetje Hey - Peter Samuel, bp, 19 Jul
1709 at Quassiac; John, bp. same; Deliverance, bp. Sep 3, 1714 NYDRC; and
Edmund, bp. Sep 1717 Quassiac. Probably your Peter was a desc. of one of
them.
