Hi all - Thought that I would re-send my CONKLIN query. This family has
been a puzzle for many years - I hope that one of you may have a clue that
somehow relates to this particular branch, or advice on how to proceed.

My information is as follows:

My Grandfather's grandfather was David Conklin, b. NJ abt 1834, d. NJ aft
1870. He married Louisa Barton, dau. of John and Mary Barton, Dec, 1854 in
a Methodist Church in NYC by Rev A E Scudder, w/ Lucinda Conklin as
witness. In 1870, he lived in Jersey City, NJ, and worked as a
" Railway Superintendant."

Children:

1. Sarah (b. 1854, alive in 1953)

2. Mary (b. 1858, m. J.J. Willey as 1st wife)

3. David (b. 1860, listed as "Mariner")

4.William Henry (b. 1863, m. Lillian Emily Willey, lived as photographer in
Jersey City, NJ)

5. Jessey (b. 1865, m. J.J. Willey as 2nd wife) - my grandfather's mother

6. Washington (b. 1867)

and apparently others

Any help on David's ancestry would be appreciated.

Thanks!
