GEN-NYS-L: MOTT, Adam Jr

Seeking verification and/or any other info available on Adam MOTT, Jr
(1736 CT - 1836 NY)who lived in what is now Vernon, Sussex Co., NJ. He
moved there "in his later years" which I estimate to be AFTER 1806 (when
his wife died in CT) and owned a farm. He had at least one son, ELIHU,
and a nephew, SYLVANUS, with him. My specific interest is where he lived,
the names of the children that lived with/near him, and what happened to
them (spouses names, childrens names, where they moved to). There is a
MOTT Drive in Vernon, which is probably named for the family.
I have significant information on Adam Jrs predecessors, back to the
original immigrant, Adam Mott of Rhode Island (1635). This is NOT the
same Adam Mott that lived in Hempstead Long Island. I have one last
verified connection to make between my Mott line from Morristown NJ. I
believe that ELIHU is that last link.
Will be ecstatic to sit down with a glass of chilled apple juice and
share MOTT (any line you have, I probably have info on it) data. Maybe I
can make a connection for you!
