Adolphus Corbine , my gr grandfather was the son of Jacques and Caroline
(Tergau) Corbine born in Lyn , Ontario in 1850.
Adolphus was married three times to Eliza Remington (1848-1872), Lucinda
Kring (1852-1876) and then my gr grandmother Susan Merrihew (1860-1934).
Adolphus was a shoemaker in Harrisville, Lewis County and later moved to
Carthage, NY and died there 1917. He is buried in Harrisville, NY. If
anyone has any infromation on any one mentioned here, please contact me.
Adolphus had the following brothers and sister. Alexander, Rose, Lucy,
George, Robert and Peter.
I have had 8 years experience researching upstate NY mainly St
Lawrence, Jefferson, Lewis and Oneida Counties. If I can help anyone who is
having a problem with their genealogy, I will certainly TRY.
