Martin FIELDS and his wife Martha SMITH FIELDS are buried in the Greenman
Hill Cemetery in Nassau, NY. He died in 1836. They had at least one son,
Minor FIELDS who married Martha Elizabeth SMITHS. Martin FIELDS had
indentured property in the VanRensselaer Manor that he sold to a Mr. TIFFT.
I think that one of these women might be an American Indian. I would like
to know where Martin FIELDS lived before he moved to Nassau, NY. I know
that he immigrated to the US from France. He changed his name from
delaFeldt to FIELDS. Does anyone have these people in their database?
