I am searching for ancestors of Earl Gregory MILLER, b. 1816 Delaware Co.,
NY, d. 1902 Antelope Co., NE, m. 1841 Walton, Delaware, NY to Charity Jane
Hawley, dau of Harvey and Charity Lewis Hawley of Delaware Co. I believe
that Earl was descended from a James Miller who died in Delaware Co., 1808
leaving a will naming wife Abigail, sons James Jr., Isaac, Levi, Col. A.
Solomon and Earl; daughters Phebe (m. Rolf) and Mary Twaddell. Earl Gregory
seems to have been the son of one of these. I have tenatively assigned him
to Col. A., as he (Col. A.) was married to Fatina Gregory, however, there
may have been more than one marriage between the Millers and Gregorys.
If anyone has information on these MILLER, GREGORY, and HAWLEY families in
Delaware Co., NY, I would appreciate any help I can get.
